If youíve ever been told you canít sing, or believe you canít, Laura will prove you wrong. Laura has coached new students who spent their whole lives thinking they were totally tone deaf, and in no time at all, had them performing at a student concert, and yesÖ, IN TUNE! Itís happened over and over again with Lauraís students, and itís an absolute revelation for them as to what they are actually capable of. There IS a voice in there, and Laura will coax it out of you.
Professional or more advanced singers also benefit hugely from Lauraís vast experience and knowledge. Learn how to perform more comfortably on stage, engage audiences, gain confidence, discover your strengths and overcome your weaknesses.
Singing becomes a LOT more fun when students realize how much they've improved and begin to actually LOVE the sounds of their own voices. They gain a tremendous amount of confidence and a sense of accomplishment from their newly developed skills. They are amazed at how quickly this can happen.
Laura also teaches jazz and pop piano.
1. For anyone who has never played piano before and wants to learn the basics, maybe accompany themselves while they sing, or just play on their own.
2. For anyone who learned a bit of piano perhaps many years ago, and wants to brush-up and learn more.?
3. For classically trained pianists who may not have played for many years..., and who want to learn how to play jazz or pop by ear and/or accompany themselves while they sing. Letting go of that sheet music can be a real joy!
